Children and Young People

We believe that our children are a vital part of the Church and aim to make provision for children of all ages.
PandTSundays
At the same time as the main morning service, children’s groups ranging from ages 3 years to 13 take place in the hall, and there are always people willing to help parents who have small children in church with them (just ask).
Mondays (term time)
3:30 to 4:30, a children’s club is run at Down’s Farm Community Centre. This is aimed at 5-7 year olds, with craft activities. For more information contact the Parish Secretary.

Thanksgiving for the birth of a child, Baptism and Confirmation. Please contact the Vicar for information about any of these. If you’d like to have your child baptised, or to be baptised yourself but are unsure of your own faith, we’d love you to join an Alpha course, where you can ask the questions you want without any fear of embarrassment.
Treasure Seekers’ Week, For many years, during the summer holiday, we have run this week for children aged 8-12 years during August. A fun time with activities relating to the bible, outings, crafts etc.
School visits
We welcome visits by classes from the local schools and will organise programmes to suit your needs – from Reception to A-level.
Uniformed groups
The Church supports a Scout Group – with Cubs, a Guide group, and a Brownie pack.
Youth Group
